AB de Villiers confident South Africa will not be stopped at World Cup

South Africa captain AB de Villiers believes that if his side play to their "full potential", they could go all the way in the World Cup.

South Africa captain AB de Villiers is confident that his side can go all the way in the World Cup as long as they play to their "full potential".

The Proteas will take on New Zealand in the semi-final tomorrow after they sealed their spot in the final four with a nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka.

"I feel the team is in a really good space at a really good time and we've got a lot of reason to be confident for tomorrow's game," De Villiers said in today's press conference.

"I've mentioned before that I believe, if we play to our full potential, nobody is going to stop us in this tournament."

Prior to last week's win, South Africa had never won a knockout game at a World Cup.
