Adelaide Strikers have maintained their 100% start in the Big Bash League with an eight-wicket victory at home to Hobart Hurricanes.
Hobart made 136-8 from their 20 overs before the hosts breezed to 141-2 with 33 balls remaining.
Jonathan Wells (58 not out) and Alex Hales (29) stood out with the bat for the visitors, but disappointing knocks from Ben Dunk (0), Tim Paine (12), Evan Gulbis (two) and Darren Sammy (one) saw the Hurricanes struggle at the crease.
Shaun Tait ended with bowling figures of 3-22 for Adelaide, who also had Ben Laughlin and Kane Richardson among the wickets.
Scores from Tim Ludeman (54) and Craig Simmons (22) saw the Strikers get off to a flying start when it was their turn out in the middle, before Jono Dean (54 not out) and Kieron Pollard (seven not out) got them over the line in routine fashion.
Sammy was the man who eventually dismissed Simmons, while Cameron Boyce took out Ludeman.
