Matt Prior responds to Kevin Pietersen 'bullying' claims

Matt Prior says that he is "sad" to see former England teammate Kevin Pietersen accuse him of being a bully within the national setup.

England wicketkeeper Matt Prior has said that he is "sad" to see former teammate Kevin Pietersen's claim that he was a negative influence in the dressing room.

Ahead of the release of his autobiography, Pietersen has claimed that Prior was a bully within the national setup.

However, Prior has insisted that he will respond to the batsman's comments in due course.

Prior wrote on Twitter: "After this morning I'm looking forward to reading the full kp book. Might bully my kids into getting it for me for Xmas!!

"Obvs sad to see the accusations against me this am and I WILL have my right of reply! However today is not the day and Twitter is not the place for it!"

Prior has not been offered a central contract from the ECB for next season due to injury problems.
