In-form batsman Kane Williamson scored a century as New Zealand successfully chased down 276 to win the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka and take a 2-1 series lead.
Williamson scored 103 off 107 deliveries and he was well supported in the middle overs by Grant Elliott (44) and Corey Anderson (47), before Luke Ronchi's big hitting late in the innings won the game for the Kiwis with four wickets to spare.
Sri Lanka captain Angelo Matthews and spinner Rangana Herath caused the hosts the most problems with their bowling, but they were two of five bowlers who managed only one wicket each.
The visitors had veteran pair Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene to thank for their score, after they both notched half-centuries and combined to score more than half of the team's overall total.
Sangakkara scored 76 from 83 balls, while Jayawardene contributed 94 in a partnership that was worth 170 runs.
New Zealand bowler Tim Southee finished with figures of 3-59, while Adam Milne and Mitchell McClenaghan both chipped in with two wickets each.
