Kane Williamson agrees third Yorkshire stint

New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson agrees to spend the closing stages of the 2015 County Championship season with Yorkshire.

Yorkshire have secured the services of New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson for a third season.

The 24-year-old, who helped the White Rose win a first four-day title since 2001 last year, will arrive at Headingley for the final three games of the County Championship campaign.

"I have enjoyed my time over the last couple of years and to be given the opportunity to return to the club is great. There is a brilliant culture at Yorkshire and it is a real privilege to be part of it," he told the ECB's official website.

"Hopefully when I arrive, at the back end of the season, I can contribute to team performances as much as possible and help in our efforts to defend the championship.

"There is a lot of cricket to be played with New Zealand beforehand, but I look forward to joining Yorkshire soon."

Williamson is expected to be a part of the Kiwis side that will take on England at the ongoing one-day international World Cup on Friday.
