Alex Blake leads Kent Spitfires to three-wicket win

Kent Spitfires beat Gloucestershire by three wickets at Cheltenham to solidify their spot at the top of the T20 Blast South Group.

Alex Blake scored an unbeaten 59 as T20 Blast South Group leaders Kent Spitfires beat Gloucestershire by three wickets at Cheltenham.

Michael Klinger's 75 was not enough for Gloucestershire, who stay sixth.

The hosts batted first, with Klinger's half-century helping to set a target of 166 after losing seven men in the process.

However, the Spitfires proved up to the ask, as Joe Denly (31) and Sam Northeast (49) provided valuable contributions early on.

Nevertheless, it was Blake's knock of 59 that helped drag Kent over the line as they finished on 170-7, with Craig Miles taking three wickets.
