Ravi Rampaul recorded figures of 4-57 to bowl the West Indies to a 14-run victory over India in the first One Day International in Ahmedabad today.
The paceman claimed wickets with his first two balls, dismissing both Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir for golden ducks.
The visitors were earlier thankful to some lower order power hitting from Darren Sammy and Andre Russell.
Captain Sammy smashed 41 off 17 and Russell 40 off 18 balls to lift the Windies to 260-5 after they limped to 181-5, with Martin Samuels also contributing a leisurely 58.
Rohit Sharma's 95 was a lone effort for the hosts, who fell 14 runs short thanks to the bowling exploits of Rampaul, who came back to take the final wicket of Abhimanyu Mithun and secure victory for the tourists.
