India beat Afghanistan by eight wickets in Asia Cup

India comfortably beat Afghanistan by eight wickets in their Asia Cup dead rubber.

India have comprehensively beaten Afghanistan by eight wickets in their final Asia Cup match in Mirpur.

Both sides came into today's match knowing that they had no chance of reaching the final, with India easily chasing down the target of 160 set by Afghanistan.

All four of India's batsman got into double figures, with openers Ajinkya Rahane (56) and Shikhar Dhawan (60) leading from the front.

Dinesh Karthik (21*) and Rohit Sharma (18*) were at the crease at the end. Sharma hit the winning runs with a four as India wrapped up the win with over 100 balls remaining.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka contest the final on Saturday.
