India captain MS Dhoni was full of praise for the consistency of Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling following his starring role in the eight-wicket win over Pakistan on Saturday.
Heavy rain meant that in total only 62 of the 100 overs were bowled and Kumar conceded just 19 runs from his eight overs, also claiming two wickets.
"He is not someone who is very quick but he bowls in very good areas," the Times of India quotes Dhoni as saying. "In these conditions, he used the new ball well as he can swing the ball both ways.
"Bhuvneshwar put a lot of pressure on the opposition. He has only played a few ODIs but he will only improve."
India won all three games in the Champions Trophy Group B, while Pakistan lost each of theirs.
