India have won the toss and decided to bat first in the third Test match against England in Kolkata.

This is the third time in a row that India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won the toss against the tourists.

The hosts have made one change to their team, with fast bowler Ishant Sharma playing in his first Test match in more than 10 months. He replaces offspinner Harbhajan Singh.

For England, Ian Bell has returned from paternity leave to replace Jonny Bairtow and Steven Finn has recovered from his injury to take the place of Stuart Broad.

The four-match Test series is currently tied at 1-1.
