Ian Bell century puts England in control at tea against India

A century from Ian Bell puts England in a dominant position at tea on day two of the third Test against India at the Ageas Bowl.

A 21st Test century from Ian Bell has seen England reach 452-5 at tea on day two of the third Test against India at the Ageas Bowl.

The hosts began the afternoon session on 247-2 before Bell's unbeaten knock of 133 furthered their dominance at the crease.

However, England did not have it all their own way as Joe Root (three) and Moeen Ali (12) both fell victim to Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Bell will be joined out in the middle by debutant Jos Buttler (13 not out) when play gets back underway.
