Bangladesh have closed in on victory over England after ending day four of the first Test on 253-8 in Chittagong, requiring 33 runs from the final two wickets.
England lost their last two wickets in barely four overs as they added 12 runs to their tally on Sunday, eventually bringing their second innings to a close all out for 240.
That left the hosts chasing down 286, which they looked good value to reach when Imrul Kayes quickly racked up 43 and Mushfiqur Rahim 39, while debutant Sabbir Rahman ended on 59 not out.
England missed a chance to take Rahman when dropping on 34 runs, with Gareth Batty ending his bowling duties for the day on 3-65, and Bangladesh now know that victory is within their grasp in Monday's final session.
The Tigers have won just seven of their previous 93 Tests.
