England batsman Jonathan Trott says that he is excited to play in the ICC Champions Trophy final at Edgbaston, where he plays his county cricket.

Jonathan Trott has said that he is "excited" to be playing in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy at his home ground.

England will face India in the tournament showpiece on Sunday at Edgbaston, where Trott plays his county cricket for Warwickshire.

"To walk out at Edgbaston will be extra special so for me personally I'm very excited," Sky Sports News quotes the 32-year-old as saying.

"It's always fantastic for me, Ian Bell and Chris Woakes to play at Edgbaston - representing England is always a fantastic honour.

"The guys are looking to seize the opportunity. They don't come around very often."

Trott has played 64 one-day internationals for England.
