Graeme Swann admits that he is not the right man to captain England.

Graeme Swann has revealed that he has no ambition to become England captain following a couple of stints at Twenty20 level.

The 32-year-old bowler replaced Stuart Broad as skipper for two Twenty fixtures in September, but has insisted that the responsibility is not "his cup of tea".

"I loved the tactical side on the field. I revelled in that," The Times quote Swann as saying. "But the other stuff that goes with the job is not my cup of tea.

"With the guys who weren't playing, I'd find myself subconsciously avoiding them like the plague because I didn't want to tell them they weren't playing - I was leaving it to Andy Flower to deal with. That's not what a captain should be like."

Swann recently stated that he would like to see the end of one-day international cricket.
