Much-maligned England cricketer Kevin Pietersen will reportedly meet his captain Andrew Strauss next week as he looks to resurrect his career.
Pietersen, 32, was dropped for the third and final Test against South Africa and is also currently not available for selection in limited-over forms of the game.
The big-hitting batsman was dropped for the current Test because of text messages sent by Pietersen to members of the South African team during the second match of the series at Headingley.
Pietersen has apologised for his actions but his reputation and international future remains up in the air.
Strauss himself has recently stated that he is unsure what lies ahead for 'KP'.
