England win toss, opt to bowl first

England captain Eoin Morgan chooses to bowl first after winning the toss ahead of the fifth one-day international with New Zealand.

England will bowl first in the fifth and final one-day international with New Zealand at Emirates Durham ICG.

After Black Caps skipper Brendon McCullum called incorrectly, England skipper Eoin Morgan had no hesitation in choosing to bowl first in overcast conditions in the North-East.

Morgan has been forced into one change, with Jonny Bairstow replacing Jos Buttler behind the stumps after the Lancashire man suffered an injury to the webbing of his hand.

New Zealand have also made one change, with Andrew Mathieson making his debut as a replacement for Mitchell McClenaghan.

With the teams locked at 2-2, the winner of Saturday's game will prevail in the five-match series.

England: Roy, Hales, Root, Morgan, Stokes, Bairstow, Billings, Rashid, Willey, Wood, Finn

New Zealand: Guptill, McCullum, Williamson, Taylor, Elliott, Santner, Ronchi, Wheeler, Henry, Southee, Mathieson
