Former India captain Rahul Dravid believes that England should select spinner Monty Panesar if they are to win the four-match Test series.
It appears likely that England will select Samit Patel ahead of Panesar for the series, but Dravid has questioned the decision.
"Bits and pieces cricketers haven't had much of an impact in India.Monty has bowled well in India in the past and can keep one end tight so I would like him to play," Dravid told BBC Sport.
England secured a 4-0 victory over India last year.
