England captain Alastair Cook has paid tribute to the efforts of batsmen Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell after the visitors clinched their first Test series win in India for 28 years.
The tourists secured a draw in Nagpur today courtesy of Trott and Bell, who both claimed centuries at the crease.
"It's a very special day for us today, a special tour," said Cook. "Today was a fantastic effort. It was a flat wicket to bat on but Trotty and Belly to do what they did, normally there's a few nerves later on a day like to today, but how calmly they batted was just fantastic."
England clinched the series 2-1 overall.
