England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler has said that the team must play without fear against Australia if they are to bring their losing streak to an end.
England will equal their worst ever run of 10 successive defeats across all formats, which they suffered in 1993 and 2001, if they lose Friday's one-day international in Perth.
"Obviously we are very desperate to avoid that," Buttler told the Evening Express.
"It's not a tag anyone would like. You go into every game wanting to win it and we haven't done that this tour. Everyone is very disappointed with that fact, but Friday is another opportunity to try and turn that around."
Australia beat England by seven wickets in the third one-day international in Sydney last Friday.
