Jos Buttler is expected to replace Craig Kieswetter behind the stumps for England's fourth ODI with India on Wednesday.

England are expected to drop wicket-keeper Craig Kieswetter for the fourth one-day international against India on Wednesday in favour of his Somerset teammate Jos Buttler.

Out-of-form Kieswetter has not recorded a half century in his last 12 ODI innings and was dismissed for a third-ball duck in the seven-wicket defeat in Ranchi on Saturday.

Batting coach Graham Gooch and captain Alastair Cook are concerned with the middle-order collapses that have blighted England's recent batting displays.

Of the top seven, Kieswetter's place is the most vulnerable and young batsman Buttler, whose ODI debut against Pakistan in February 2012 is his only appearance to date, has impressed with several cameos in the Twenty20 format.

Kieswetter is first-choice glovesman for Somerset, but Buttler also has experience behind the stumps from his time at Taunton.

England trail the five-match series 2-1.
