England's Jos Buttler has praised the match-winning performance of Eoin Morgan in the tourists' last-ball victory against India this afternoon.
Stand-in skipper Morgan hit a huge six down-the-ground off the final delivery when three were required to reach 49 not out and draw the two-match series.
"We're really pleased to get that victory. It was a world-class finish from a world-class finisher in Eoin Morgan," Buttler told Sky Sports News.
Buttler was the other man at the crease to share Morgan's celebrations as he finished unbeaten on 15.
"He was very confident and that rubbed off on me," the 22-year-old added.
"It's a great Christmas present. It was a world-class performance from everyone and everyone's delighted to get a win."
England will now return home for Christmas before journeying back to India for the one-day series in the New Year.
