England batsman Jos Buttler has revealed that he is excited about the upcoming Twenty20 World Cup after his match-winning innings against South Africa.
The 22-year-old hit 32 off just 10 balls as the hosts levelled their three-match series against the Proteas at Edgbaston.
"I swung hard and it came off," Buttler told Sky Sports News.
"International cricket hasn't gone as well as I would have hoped so far and now I'm just glad to contribute to a winning side. It's good preparation and I'm looking forward to Sri Lanka."
Buttler has played 11 times for the T20 national side following his debut last year.
