Captain Stuart Broad has declared himself pleased with England's showing at this year's T20 World Cup.
Broad's side were eliminated from the Super 10 stage of the tournament on Saturday following their three-run defeat to South Africa in Chittagong.
England's defeat to the Proteas followed a Duckworth-Lewis loss to New Zealand and a thrilling win over Sri Lanka.
"We've had a lot of positives come out of this World Cup," Broad told reporters.
"If we had got out of the group there would have been a lot of surprised people. We're disappointed, but we've done some good stuff with the squad available to us."
England conclude their World T20 campaign on Monday with a dead rubber against the Netherlands, who are also unable to qualify from Group 1.
