Stuart Broad has insisted that Ben Stokes has all the attributes to become "one of the best cricketers England's ever had".
All-rounder Stokes has been in the headlines over recent days after he was hit for four consecutive sixes to hand the West Indies the World ICC Twenty20 title on Sunday.
However, bowler Broad has backed the 24-year-old to not only recover from that disappointment, but also go on to be one of his country's greatest players.
"This will play a big part in making him a very strong character. You always learn more from making errors than from the good days," he told BBC Sport.
"He's got every attribute to be one of the best cricketers England's ever had. I'm sure he will become that in the future."
Both Broad and Stokes are expected to feature for England in this summer's home Test encounters against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
