England batsman Ian Bell has committed his county future to Warwickshire by signing a new three-year deal with the Edgbaston-based side.
Having made his debut in 2001, 30-year-old Bell has gone on to become a key member of the Warwickshire squad when not required by England.
Discussing his new deal, Bell revealed that he never had any intention of leaving his boyhood team.
"I take a great deal of pride representing my home county and it's fantastic to sign a new deal to continue playing for Warwickshire for the foreseeable future," he told the club's official website.
"We've got a great coaching team with strong ties to Warwickshire, one of the strongest playing squads that I've been part of, and the new facilities at Edgbaston are among the best in world cricket. I wouldn't want to play anywhere else."
Bell has made three appearances for Warwickshire so far this season.
