Ian Bell has praised England teammate Jonny Bairstow following the batsman's unbeaten knock of 72 on day two of the third Test against South Africa at Lord's.
Bell and Bairstow put on a partnership of 124 as the hosts ended the day on 208-5, 101 runs behind the tourists.
When asked what he made of his batting partner's contribution, Bell told Sky Sports News: "Brilliant, absolutely fantastic. I thought he gave everything in the field and he showed what a quality player he is with the bat."
England must win the final Test of the series to stay at the top of the world rankings.
