Ian Bell passes Paul Collingwood to become England's all-time leading run scorer in one-day international cricket in just his 153rd match.

Ian Bell has become England's all-time leading run scorer in one-day international cricket.

The 32-year-old passed Paul Collingwood at the top of the run chart in the Three Lions' clash against Australia in the Tri-series in Hobart when he reached 98 not out, passing the former captain on 5,093 runs.

Bell reached the milestone in just his 153rd match for his country, having featured in all roles in the batting order in his 11-year career in the one-day format.

The Warwickshire batsman also notched his fourth one-day international century in the match, leaving Eoin Morgan's side in a strong position in their first innings against the Baggy Greens.
