James Anderson happy with appointment of Peter Moores

James Anderson reveals his happiness with the decision to give Peter Moores a second chance as England coach.

James Anderson has backed the England and Wales Cricket Board's decision to name Peter Moores as head coach for the second time.

The 31-year-old, who has worked with Moores at Lancashire, believes that his ability to improve individuals will give England a boost as they look to recover from a disappointing few months on tour.

"I got on really well with him first time around when he coached England a few years ago," Anderson told Sky Sports News.

"I've been in and out of Lancashire the last five years but to see what he's done with Lancashire, not just the team but the individuals there and how they have improved over the last few years, I think bodes really well for England and English cricket.

"Hopefully he can turn things around and get us back on to a winning track."

Moores has included Anderson in the squad for the one-day international against Scotland on May 9.
