India have taken a 2-0 lead in their one-day international series with England following an eight-wicket victory in Delhi this afternoon.
England had earlier posted a total of 237 all out from their innings, as Kevin Pietersen top scored with 46.
The home side's reply started slowly, with openers Ajinkya Rahane and Parthiv Patel falling to the bowling of Tim Bresnan for 12 and 14 respectively.
However, the introduction of Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli at number three and four would go on to secure victory for the hosts.
Gambhir (84) and Kohli (112) put on a partnership of 209 of just 179 balls to secure the win with 13.2 overs remaining.
Alastair Cook's England will need to win the next meeting between the two sides on Thursday to stand any chance of winning the series.
