Moeen Ali took the key wicket of David Warner right before lunch to give England a boost on day four of the first Ashes Test against Australia in Cardiff.

After bowling England out to finish day three yesterday evening, the Aussies were set a victory target of 412 to win the first Test with two days of play ahead of them.
Openers Chris Rogers and Warner set about surviving a new-ball barrage from James Anderson and Stuart Broad, but Rogers was gone in the 10th over.
The left-hander, who scored 95 in the first innings, saw his run of Test half-centuries come to an end at seven as he edged Stuart Broad through to Ian Bell, who squatted low to grab the ball just before it hit the turf.

Had Rogers managed to reach 50, he would have set a new record for consecutive Test half-centuries.
After a slow start, Warner (52) began to find the middle of the bat and notched 50 before lunch, but then was trapped lbw by Ali with the last ball before the break.
Number three Steven Smith has looked comfortable in reaching 29 to help the tourists to 97-2, 315 runs short of their victory target. He will be joined by captain Michael Clarke after lunch.
