Graeme Swann dismisses Steven Smith and David Warner to restrict Australia to 392-5 at lunch on day two of the third Test match at Old Trafford.

Graeme Swann has struck twice during the morning session of day two of the third Ashes Test match at Old Trafford.

Resuming on 303-3, Australia eased through the opening hour of the day with little fuss.

However, England struck through Swann, who removed Steven Smith for 89 runs to bring David Warner to the crease.

But the returning batsman did not last long, falling for five to Swann, as Australia were reduced to 365-5.

England were in the ascendancy but Clarke is still going strong on 168 runs, while Brad Haddin has made a quick-fire 18 to take Australia to 392-5 at lunch.
