Graeme Swann has said that England bounced back well after losing a wicket on the first ball during day two of the second Ashes Test at Lord's earlier today.
The hosts resumed on 289-7, losing Tim Bresnan to the opening delivery before being bowled out for 361.
The spin bowler told Sky Sports News: "Obviously losing a wicket first ball wasn't ideal but I think we bounced back well with the bat.
"To then bowl Australia out for 130 or whatever, we'd have bitten anyone's hand off at the start of the day if they'd offered us that.
"We talked about just getting as many as possible on this pitch. We thought it was a pitch that was much more of a 450 pitch, so we were a bit below par and talked about getting as many as possible."
England reached 31-3 at the close of play, having bowled Australia out for 128.
