David Lloyd has insisted that England will record a routine victory over Australia during the upcoming Ashes.
Some pundits have suggested that Australia's late change in coach from Mickey Arthur to Darren Lehmann has improved their chances of regaining the urn.
However, former player and coach Lloyd believes that despite the alteration, England will go on to win the series "easily".
"My thoughts on the Ashes have not changed at all. England will win easily. Australia might have a new coach, but the last time I checked they haven't got any new players. You still need ability to win a Test series," he told Sky Sports News.
"It's not going to be a pushover, but if you look at it on paper, then England are much stronger. Australia have had massive problems and in my experience, problems just don't go away."
The first of five Tests will get underway on Wednesday morning at Trent Bridge.
