England team director Andy Flower has admitted that his side have not played their best cricket during the Ashes series against Australia.
The hosts won the fourth Test in Durham by clinching nine wickets in the evening session yesterday, giving England an unassailable 3-0 lead with one Test left in the series.
"I don't think we've played our best cricket in the series, but what we have done is been resilient, we've held ourselves well in pressure situations," Flower said in a press conference.
"I think [Alastair] Cook's captaincy has been excellent, he's been strong in the dressing room and out on the field, made some decisions yesterday that turned the game."
The fifth and final Test will begin on August 21 at The Oval.
