Michael Vaughan 'confident' of England World Cup success

England have a chance of winning the World Cup, according to former captain Michael Vaughan.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has said that his former team have a chance of World Cup success this year.

After a disrupted build-up, England have found form in the one-day arena, with two wins against India in recent weeks leading Vaughan to suggest that they could cause a shock.

He told BBC Sport: "England are starting to look like they might have a chance in this World Cup - they have got a bit of momentum.

"They've got a settled team which is starting to play more consistently. I really believe that they believe they can cause a few shocks in this World Cup."

England play Australia in their first game on Saturday.
