The tourists resumed on 31-1 after lunch and have scored 114 for the loss of three wickets so far in their second innings.

Jacques Kallis is unbeaten on 40 runs, while AB de Villiers is one not out.

Graeme Smith scored 23 runs and Hashim Amla got 38 runs in the second innings for South Africa today.

South Africa scored 450 runs in their first innings and Australia declared their innings on 565-5.
