Australia opener David Warner has retired hurt in the second one-day international with England after suffering a suspected broken thumb.
Facing the first ball of his innings, Warner was struck on his left thumb by a delivery from Steven Finn, with the physio immediately being called onto the pitch.
However, despite receiving treatment, Warner made his way to the dressing room at Lord's, suggesting that he had sustained significant damage to his hand.
Warner was replaced by Steven Smith, but if the diagnosis proves to be better than first feared, the left-hander could return later in the innings.
On Thursday, Australia won the first encounter of the five-match series by 59 runs.
