Chairman of selectors John Inverarity has announced the Australia squad for next month's Twenty20 World Cup.

The squad contains no real surprises, with spinners Xavier Doherty, Brad Hogg and Glenn Maxwell all included in the 15-man group.

Former Twenty20 captain Cameron White returns to the side as expected after being dropped earlier this year due to a poor run of form.

Following the announcement, head coach Mickey Arthur posted on Twitter: "20/20 squad gives us a lot of flexibility and ability to adjust games plans. Hope our combination has what it takes to go all the way!"
