Australia's coach believes that his players can hit a world-record run chase of 632 to win the final Test.

Australia coach Micky Arthur has insisted that his side can still claim a victory in the third Test against South Africa, despite still requiring almost 600 runs to win.

Australia were set a record run chase of 632 in the final innings at Perth, more than 200 runs more than the highest chase in Test history.

However, Australia have two days to get the runs and Arthur is remaining optimistic.

"We bat for two days we win," Sky Sports News quotes Arthur as saying. "All we can do now is bat session for session and we have got to believe we can do it or there is no point rocking up tomorrow.

"The wicket is good and it gets better here, it is not going to crack up and there is no uneven bounce. A couple of big partnerships and you never know what might happen."

Australia lead the three-match series 1-0.
