England take three wickets after lunch

Australia are 516-8 at tea on day two of the second Ashes Test match against England in Adelaide.

England have taken three wickets after lunch on day two of the second Ashes Test match against Australia in Adelaide.

The hosts will resume on 516-8 with Brad Haddin (108*) and Ryan Harris (29*) at the crease after Michael Clarke, Mitchell Johnson and Peter Siddle were dismissed in the second session.

The tourists had toiled in the field during the morning, but finally got some reward when Ben Stokes got rid of Clarke (148) to claim his maiden Test wicket.

James Anderson took a diving catch at mid-wicket after the Aussie skipper caught a leading edge.

Mitchell Johnson quickly followed him to the pavilion after lofting Graeme Swann to Stuart Broad having made just five runs.

Haddin brought up his fourth Test century by pulling Stokes through mid-wicket for four, but the 22-year-old got his second wicket when Siddle (2) edged to Matt Prior.
