Chris Rogers has admitted that scoring a century for Australia at Lord's is among the "proudest moments" of his career.
The 37-year-old struck an unbeaten 158 to put the Baggy Greens well in command on day one of the second Ashes Test.
Having reached three figures at a ground he knows well due to his Middlesex exploits, Rogers confessed to being overwhelmed by his achievement.
"It's going to be one of the proudest moments in my career I think," he told Sky Sports News. "To score a hundred at MCG then the SCG and then to get one here, it's so special. I have a lot of support here, a lot of friends and it just feels amazing to do it."
Steve Smith also piled on 129 runs of his own to leave Australia on 337-1 at the end of play.
