Reaction to historic boxing victory for Nicola Adams

Team GB's Nicola Adams receives waves of praise following her boxing final win, where she became the first female boxer to win gold at an Olympic Games.

Team GB boxer Nicola Adams has made history by becoming the first female to ever win a gold medal at an Olympic boxing event.

The 29-year-old, who secured a nine-point win over China's Ren Cancan at the ExCel Arena, has received a barrage of support on Twitter following her famous triumph.
