Team GB boxing giant Anthony Joshua has drawn dangerous Cuban Erislandy Savon in the first round of the men's super-heavyweight tournament.
World Championship silver medalist Joshua is a major medal contender for Great Britain, but must first overcome Savon, a Cuban hopeful with a rich family history in the sport.
Nephew of the three-time Olympic Champion Felix Savon, the 22-year-old Erislandy represents a genuine danger for Joshua early on in the competition.
"Anthony had a fantastic world championships and he is ready for the fight," said Great Britain team manager Matt Holt. "It is always tough against the Cubans, but Joshua can mix it with the very best."
Joshua and Savon will clash on Wednesday in the pick of the first-round draw conducted on Friday at the Excel centre.
