Great Britain's Nicola Adams keeps treble dream alive with Elif Coskun win

Olympic and Commonwealth champion Nicola Adams keeps her treble dream alive by out-boxing Elif Coskun to reach the final of the 51kg class at the European Games.

Great Britain boxing star Nicola Adams has advanced into the final of the 51kg flyweight class at the European Games with a comprehensive win over Turkey's Elif Coskun.

All eyes were on the 32-year-old at Crystal Hall today as Adams bid to keep her hopes of an unprecedented treble alive.

The reigning Olympic and Commonwealth champion - the first woman to simultaneously hold both titles - barely broke sweat as she beat her Turkish counterpart 3-0 to move into Thursday's final.

There, she will meet Sandra Drabik of Poland and victory would see Adams complete a treble of major titles.

Tomorrow's showpiece is scheduled to get underway at 2pm.
