Frank Warren claims that Eddie Hearn has turned down fights between Nathan Cleverly and Carl Froch, as well as Scott Quigg against Carl Frampton.

Boxing promoter Frank Warren has claimed that rival Eddie Hearn has turned down two big domestic fights in the past month.

Warren released a statement earlier, suggesting that Hearn had rejected his "multi-million pound offer" of a fight between WBO light-heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly and super-middleweight king Carl Froch.

The statement also revealed that Hearn said a September fight against Carl Frampton would be too soon for his new super-bantamweight charge Scott Quigg.

The statement read: "Warren today made a big offer to Hearn for Quigg to fight Frampton in September 2013, but surprisingly Hearn replied saying that a September date was a little too soon.

"Earlier this month Warren made Froch a multi-million pound offer to fight Cleverly, only for the fight to be declined by Hearn.

"How can a boxer not be ready to fight in three months? Only yesterday Hearn said in an interview that both fighter wanted it. Well, if Frampton wants it, his team want it and, according to Hearn, Quigg wants it, what does that tell you?"

European super-bantamweight champion Frampton, left Hearn's Matchroom Sport to join Warren last month.
