Lee Purdy has been forced to pull out of his bout with Carson Jones this Saturday because of a virus.
The 25-year-old, who has lost just one of his 24 fights, had been due to take on the American live on Sky Sports at London's Olympia.
However, promoter Eddie Hearn tweeted earlier today that the fight is off.
"Gutted to announce that @LeePurdy1 is out of the fight this weekend with a virus. Full press release coming very soon," said the Matchroom Sport promoter.
Hearn went on to say that he was trying to find Jones an alternative opponent.
"People asking if Carson is still fighting, he is in UK and has been in camp for 10 weeks so I am working on making sure he fights," he added.
Purdy's withdrawal means that Darren Barker against Kerry Hope will now be the main event.
