British middleweight Billy Joe Saunders believes that he would knock out Chris Eubank Jr if the two were to clash in the ring.
Both fighters are moving themselves up the world rankings, but after Eubank was recently critical of Saunders, the Commonwealth champion has responded by insisting that he would have no problem in defeating his rival.
At a press conference ahead of his European title bout with Emanuele Blandamura, the 24-year-old said: "I don't rate Chris Eubank Jr. I don't like to run any fighters down because I know what it takes to get inside the ring, but people comparing him with me is a joke. I'd smash him to pieces."
Saunders is unbeaten in 19 contests, while Eubank has 15 successive wins to his name.
