Russian Alexander Povetkin has stopped Andrzej Wawrzyk inside three rounds to retain his WBA world heavyweight title.
After a slow start, the 33-year-old floored his Polish opponent with a right hand in the second round, but he was able to beat the count.
However, it was a different story in the third, as the referee called a halt to the fight after another huge shot from Povetkin.
The unbeaten fighter will now go on to face Wladimir Klitschko, with the encounter believed to be scheduled for October 5 in Moscow.
