Martin Murray eager to meet Arthur Abraham in Germany

Martin Murray claims that he would be happy to take on Arthur Abraham for the WBO super-middleweight title in Germany.

Martin Murray has revealed that would be keen to make the trip to Germany to face WBO super-middleweight champion Arthur Abraham.

A victory over Jose Miguel Torres on Saturday would move Murray closer to a bout against Abraham or WBA champion Fedor Chudinov, and the 32-year-old insists that he is ready to take on a fight in the WBO title holder's home country.

"I'd love the Arthur Abraham fight. It'd be in Germany so you're always up against it. Chudinov you could get over here if he wins," he told reporters.

"It's quite hard from a personal point of view with the WBA because do you look at the regular world champion and the Super champion? It's all a bit confusing."

Murray suffered a controversial split draw decision to Felix Sturm in Germany with the WBA title on the line in 2011.
