Floyd Mayweather Jr has predicted that his upcoming bout against Miguel Cotto will not last the full 12 rounds.
The unbeaten American told Boxing Scene that he is "going for the kill" in the test against the WBA light-middleweight champion.
"This fight won't go the distance," he said. "He's coming in for the kill and I'm going in there for the kill. This is boxing, this is the hurt business, it's about excitement and that's what I'm here to do."
The 35-year-old, who starts a 90-day prison sentence in June, has only taken part in four matches since defeating Ricky Hatton in 2007.
Mayweather will take on Cotto on May 5.
